Ispwich buses are currently trialling London’s new Routemaster bus.

The Gorgeous bus which we talked about in last week’s post has been on trial for a week and already it has been turning heads. The curved striking design of the glass and bodywork are striking to the eye and seem to have captured the imagination of the public.

This is according to Ipswich bus Managing Director.

The hope is that the unique design of the bus will attract people onto the bus.

To me this sounds like an excellent approach. What was once a drab affair can now be a little bit exciting? And whilst it won’t alleviate congestion it maybe one small step towards slowing it down.
