As royal chariots go, a brand new Range Rover is as good as it gets. So for the Baby Prince’s first outing he was already following a long traditional of royals and their love affair with this most British of marquees.
Whilst Jaguar Land Rover’s fortunes over the years has not exactly been illustrious, it is the only car manufacturer to hold three Royal warrants, namely;
- Her Majesty The Queen
- His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh
- and His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales
What was interesting about the car was the lack of privacy glass or window tinting. I fully understand that the Royal couple wanted to share this moment with the country. But I couldn’t help wonder that on a very hot sunny day, some window tinting might have helped keep those inside cool.
