Just a note to say I was very pleased with the results in the cutting down of two windscreens by Julian.

A friendly guy who showed me step by step the procedure of cutting a wndscreen.

I had two screens, the original 1963 screen & a later tinted aftermarket screen from the 1990’s.
These were for a 1963 Volvo PV544 coupe that had had a roof chop.

The old screen was cut without any problems, this was of a thicker section compared to the newer one.
The tinted screen was also cut successfully but with a couple of cracks that had to be sealed with resin.
Because the screens are cut at the top I lost most of the graduated tint from the top of the screen, but that was no big deal.

All in all a good result considering most windscreen businesses do not want to know about screen cutting at all.

A big thank you to Julian.
